PureStretch was designed with the simple aim of encouraging people to stretch correctly in a fun and fulfilling way' 

PureStretch began in 2011 with the vision of educating and improving peoples flexibility. 

With over 15 years of fitness experience ranging from high impact classes to Yoga and Pilates, Ciaran is very aware that the three cornerstones of well-rounded fitness are stamina, strength & flexibility. Many peoples concept of fitness is all about the cardio training and the most neglected component is flexibility. It is PureStretch's mission to address this problem.

Tight hamstrings, sore muscles and poor core strength can affect your whole posture leading to discomfort. Increase your range of movement, decrease your risk of injury and improve your quality of life with PureStretch.

Whilst predominantly a practical course, the theory aspect was thoroughly covered and included a fantastic talk from a qualified Physiotherapist. As a personal trainer, I’ve always understood the value of stretching, however the PureStretch course took my knowledge and learning to a new level. As a stretching novice, Ciaran was so patient and accommodating in terms of getting me to the right level and went the extra mile to make sure I was both competent and confident in delivering the routines.   • I enjoyed the training tremendously and was very aware of the consideration that had been given to different aspects of the class. Also it was a lovely group of people - an added bonus!
    The two days were well constructed and the content had clearly been given a lot of thought.

    Although I'll be adding elements to my existing classes, I'm really keen to teach this as a standalone class, since almost anyone would benefit and it is an excellent way to encourage people to actually notice their bodies and take some time out for themselves.

  • I attended Ciaran's stretch class regularly and found that this really helped improved my flexibility. My chosen sport is waterskiing - this is very strenuous and can often lead to sore and aching muscles. The regular stretching was very beneficial and helped keep me on the water.
    Inspired by Ciaran's class I realised that I should try and promote stretching to the wider waterskiing community. Ciaran and I co-wrote an article on stretching which was accepted by and published in the British Water-ski Federation magazine. I was photographed in the various poses and Ciaran provided expert instructions and checked accuracy of the text - great fun and an interesting experience!.
